No, I'm not putting the post in the remote places :-). My research interest is in wireless communication. More specifically, Mathematical methods for wireless communication.

There are several problem in this field that need to be worked on. With the advent of WiMAX, IEEE 802.16e, the challanges become prominent. More mathematics is needed for problems like, channel estimation, channel simulation, equalization etc.. Fast and stable algorithm, with high data rate is the the goal.

Cilick here to get a summery of my recent research proposal on estimation of rapidly varying frequency selective wireless channels.

Next I will like to work on, channel simulation. I'm just not happy with the Rayleigh fading channels that are available, even the communication toolbox from MATLAB do not have a reliable channel simulation code. For developing a proper algorithm in wireless communication field a proper channel simulator is very very necessary.

And then the target will be workign on Peak-to-average ratio problem. I will love to see OFDM cell phone on my hand one day.

The first work, on which I'm working right now, have some interesting results, will appear soon. I Don't know, how much I will be able to contribute to the next two problems. Those problems are known to researchers, and many working on it also. I will also try to give a sincere attempt.
